G31M-ES2L CHIPSET DRIVER

I have had one of these for a while. However, after booting from the external hard drive, it becomes normal speed. If an ETA is available it will be displayed on hover. But after the boot process and it is already in the desktop. I also have other Enclosures here and tried those, it is still slow. It takes 10 times longer for the boot image and initramfs to load off the flash than the K8NE did.

Using the same external drive tried others as chhipsetin my laptop ICH8 it is way faster. So to sum it up: If this is normal, I guess that's what I get for what I pay for.

I removed the hard drive from the enclosure and b31m-es2l it through one of my SATA ports. Thought this board was a better clocker than it actually is.

Do not believe anyone who says this board will not overclock. There is in fact, as Bob says below, a chipset limitation. For this money, though, a complete bargain. Ask a question Compare.

Tags for this Thread g31m-es2l. The usual fast, competitively priced service from Overclockers I also tried swapping RAM chipswt my other systems and they're all the same. I see often they reply in hours, but it is already Friday night there now.

I'm also having problems with the USB power. If you don't hear from them by monday I would ask again So It is still slow by itself then? I got the 1.
